Job Summary
Responsible for providing legal advice and service concerning legal rights, obligations, and privileges of the Business Responsible for handling a variety of general corporate and commercial legal projects for the organization. Duties span reviewing information and data, researching laws, regulations, and precedents, and preparing recommendations and/or documents to support the organization. May work with or oversee outside counsel to complete assignments.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Investigating and responding to attorney demand letters.
• Draft settlement and separation agreements.
• Provide employment-related legal advice and counsel to the company's Human Resources professionals and Company management, including legal research and oral and written advice on a broad range of employment and labor law issues (e.g., terminations and discipline, reorganizations, reductions in force, leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations, wage and hour considerations, compensation plans, harassment and discrimination investigations and outcomes).
• Collaborate with HR on active investigations.
• Review and draft employment-related policies and manuals and employee communications for the organization.
• Identify and develop appropriate compliance strategies to ensure Company-wide compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
