The AALASC instituted the annual Judge James A. Kaddo Award in recognition of Arab American attorneys who serve the Arab American community, advance civil rights in the United States of America and/or contribute to American jurisprudence in a remarkable manner. Judge Kaddo, the namesake of the award, works for causes near and dear to the Arab American and Lebanese American community
